goals

I am a firm believe in goal setting.  I started goal setting at a young age and didn’t even know it at the time. However, through the last several years I have developed a system that works for me.  I challenge you to write down what you want, make a plan, and get after it.  On that note….here is what I am getting after in April!

10 years from now…

I wake up to the sunlight peeking through the blinds.  My West Elm baby blue duvet covers my sunkissed freckled shoulders as I turn over to see my husband slowly waking up from a deep sleep.  We give each other a gentle, loving hug and talk for a bit before the day starts.  I go to the kitchen to start the coffee and find my 3 children awake and getting ready for the day.  Breakfast is always the most important meal of the day.  We have some table time together before the kids go to school…

Health

Year 1 (Age 28) : I run a 1:45-1:50 half marathon at the Stillwater half marathon on May 27th -Maintain my strong, lean body composition that will allow me to run fast! Continue to teach yoga 1x per week- Join a women’s golf league!

Year 2 (Age 29) : I continue to run long distance and PR on half marathons & Teach yoga

Year 5 (Age 33): I stay fit through the pregnency’s of my children & Teach Yoga

Year 10 (Age 38): I work out with my kids and teach them healthy lifestyle habits & Teach Yoga

Personal

Year 1: I strengthen my relationships with friends and family by doing 2-3 social activities every week & paint or write 1x per week

Year 2: I marry a man that is my best friend and love of my life!

Year 5: I am having my second child

Year 10: I have 3 healthy children and have a strong, happy marriage that we continue to work on everyday

Career

Year 1: I continue to recruit top talent and apply and get accepted into grad school

Year 2: I am a grad school student and work full-time

Year 5: I work for a corporate office where I can learn the business and perfect my skill

Year 10: I have a strong private practice where I am able to manage my own business and hours
