Afresh Options for Meals and Snacks

Families, single moms, roomie ladies, and frat boys have come to know Trader Joe’s as a perfect go-to for health conscious grocery shopping.  The quantities are great and there are many grab and go options.  Also, the stores tactical marketing; think little store feel, specialty items, and cheery employees get consumers coming back for more.

I am always on the look -out for new/clean foods to eat for meals and snacks. The foods below are great add-ons to people looking for some new and nutritious options.

Organic Tuscan Kale—think salads and kale chips!

Coconut Oil—-for sautéing veggies and cooking potatoes

Organic Pumpkin—great side with cinnamon and pumpkin spice

Hard boiled Eggs—pair with avocado and salsa for lunch

Premium Canned Chicken—atop salads

Roasted Garlic Salsa—great for chicken and fish

Lightly smoked sardines in olive oil—great high protein, omega rich snack

Pumpkin Pie Spice(great on sweet potatoes, squash, and organic pumpkin)—put on squash,pumpkin,sweet potatoes

Steamed Baby Beets—atop salads, by themselves

Avocados number Guacamole —great for dipping snow peas,carrots, celery, ect.
